Don’t become involved with employees on a personal level, it will only cause problems. Know yourself and your communication style, it will help you become a better boss. Encourage your employees to set goals for themselves by: Tell your salespeople when they do a good job, everyone needs a pat on the back for a job well done. Tell your employees to ‘do what you say,’ not ‘what you do. This has always been a good motto. Don’t listen to too many of your customer complaints, they are always biased. Encourage your employees to always do the right thing.
